Because this world is very goal oriented, it seems impossible to live without having them. So we are always setting various goals for ourselves to achieve. However, if we make peace our goal and have no others, everything that we need to achieve the goal of peace will be given to us. If we need good health to have peace, good health will be ours. If we need a great relationship to have peace, that will also be provided for us. We always reach our goal because God gives us what we want. What is most important is our choice of which goal to pursue. To have a joyous and effortless life, our only goal must be peace.
因為這個世界是非常目的取向的，似乎生活中不能沒有它。因此我們總是替自己設定了許多目標要去完成。然而，若是我們只將平靜設為我們的目標，所有我們需要達成的將會賦予我們。假設我們需要在好的健康上達到平靜，我們將會是健康的；如果我們需要在良好的人際關係上達到平靜，那亦會提供給我們。我們總是能達到我們的目標，因為上主會給我們所有我們想要的。什麼是最重要的，也就是我們選擇哪一個是我們所要追求的目標。要擁有歡樂以及毫不費力的人生，我們唯一的目標就是平靜。
